Stepping Up to the Plate
T4T-Ball started as an idea for a pickup game in early May of 2025 celebrating Kim D. Naylor’s one-year-anniversary of starting on estrogen. After a jersey and knee socks from her mom showed up in the mail along with a cadre of musicians in her inbox, July 3rd became Chicago’s inaugural T4T-Ball game.
Since then, T4T-Ball has expanded to include weekly practices, regular seven inning games, over fifty players, and a large crowd of spectators.
T4T-Ball is far more than baseball - it’s a community where everyone can find their place both on and off the field.

Due to increasing player counts, every game of the 2026 season will consist of two 18-player rosters. The players these rosters are comprised of are determined based on total playtime over the course of the season, weighted toward pitchers and catchers, placing an emphasis on equity in average playtime.
