Stepping Up to the Plate

T4T-Ball started as an idea for a pickup game in early May of 2025 celebrating Kim D. Naylor’s one-year-anniversary of starting estrogen. After a jersey and knee socks from her mom showed up in the mail along with a cadre of musicians in her inbox, July 3rd became Chicago’s inaugural T4T-Ball game.

Since then, T4T-Ball has expanded to include weekly practices, regular seven inning games, over fifty players, and a large crowd of spectators.

This isn’t just baseball - it’s community.

  • Nothing! It’s free!

  • Though not required, it is strongly recommended to bring your own glove, bat, batting gloves and/or batting helmet. We do have a small stock of spare gloves, bats, and helmets, but all of our equipment is donated and we cannot guarantee there will be spares that suit you.

  • The 2025 season had a pre-game draft, wherein the pitchers are drafted followed by the remaining players. This system may change to accommodate growing player counts.

  • All are welcome to attend! We do not discriminate and will not tolerate any bigotry or hatred at T4T-Ball in any capacity. This is a safe, welcoming space to get involved in your local community!

  • Chicago’s North Side is the current home of T4T-Ball, and the 2026 T4T-Ball season schedule is still in planning. Please refer to the official T4T-Ball Instagram page @majorlezbaseball for updates!
